About Peter Cooper
I paint Architecture and the Figure, often with a narrative feel.
I love the variety and mixture of buildings in any High Street. Different stlyes, colours, textures and histories all cobbled together to make a patchwork of design.
Observing people there is a telling moment, comic, peaceful or poignant, which can be suggested by their juxtaposition with the surroundings.
My aim is to notice and portray these moments.
